Hi! My name is Mia, and I have been a rehabilitation volunteer for FugleAdvokatene since May 2025. 🥳

A few years ago, I came across a baby wood pigeon that had fallen from its nest and was being attacked by a magpie. I had heard of FugleAdvokatene and quickly posted in the Facebook help group. They guided me through safely rescuing the young pigeon and bringing it to them. That made me want to do more. ❤️‍🔥

I began feeding a regular flock of pigeons, helping with transport and rescuing vulnerable birds. Eventually, I decided to join FugleAdvokatene’s rehabilitation team. I received thorough training, and there is always someone I can ask when I am unsure. 🤲

Helping birds in distress is so rewarding, and there is so much to learn! FugleAdvokatene is a wonderful organisation where I have met like-minded animal lovers. We also get together for enjoyable social gatherings.
